The day after the week before................
Well it is Sunday, the day after the returning from my holiday. The realsation that I have to go bad to work is just hitting.
Have to say I had a really good time. I did some things on a board that I would never of thought of doing 12 months ago. Did some black runs, dropped into half pipes, attempted getting out of them and played in a park. Very cool and a big buzz. Funny really, I didn't think I had changed that much but according to my friends (working in the resort) they said I was a completely different boarder. Aggressive, natural, less fearful and willing to give anything a go. By the time I next go away I will be the muts nuts as my monthly visits to MK have done me the world of good.
The resort was not too bad even though there was not enough snow and the diffuculty rating was over exaggerated. Food was good and the locals were friendly. Might go back for a secong visit if the right deal comes up. However, I still prefer North American resorts.
The one thing this holday has made me realise is that I could quite easily manage a season working in a resort. Two things, I would get lots out of it as it is something I know I would enjoy and I would also come home a shit hot boarder.
