That - as well as the blushing - is easily my favorite part of the story. Treville is sooo cute there ^^ But he can't have nice things for long, not with those writers out there, can he?
But I love how you had Athos offer some comfort.
YES! I didn't want him to be alone there, when she dies and I think Athos is the only one of the musketeers that has the connection with Treville (being the second in command) that he would comfort him. You know, I read the Athos/Treville Fanfic that fred wrote and while I still don't ship them, the friendship is growing on me.
And that Dr Lemay still lives in this story!
I'll always use as much Lemay as possible. For context, the story would play mostly in between of the seasons, the ending must be a couple of weeks after the episode when Constance first came to court. At max. I wouldn't want to use Rochefort if possible....
Oh, how mean! I'm weirdly glad she wasn't actually buried under someone else's name, that would have been too cruel.
Yeah, I actually never gave her her own name and I don't think I ever will. She will always be Michelle for me ;-) But it IS cruel, that Treville doesn't know anything about the woman he loves. But she couldn't tell him the truth (cause of all the secrets) and lying wouldn't have been kinder in my opinion. As she lives, there is always - a slim - possibility for a second story, where they meet again. If I want to be mean, it could happen when he has just found another person he could love *snicker* )
