Well, this week has been surprisingly good. I worked on Sunday and Monday, and my first paycheck is getting mailed to me soon! And even better, my grandparents have let me drive. I went into it thinking that I wouldn't be able to drive at all, and that was just depressing. But now they let me drive everywhere, and I drive my grandma places, and its good. And even better, for the first time over break, I've been seeing my friends a lot. On Saturday, I went to Mitra's, which was fun. And then yesterday, for V-day, I went over to Leslie's house, and we watched The Notebook. It was sad, but not enough to make me bawl. I was crying, but not that much. Maybe our little interlude to talk to Kevin for 30 minutes ruined the mood of the movie. Afterwards, we went upstairs and talked on the phone a little bit more. And then today, I went to go see Hitch with Brad. He drove the Jeep, and he drove all the way to Birmingham with the parking break on. No wonder he stalled once and thunked it about 50 billion times. It was much nicer on the way home with the parking break off.

4 days till I turn 17! I'm excited.
