[Action for housemates, neighbors are free to hear Hawkeye smack her Not!husband upside the head =3, later she's hitting the streets!]
-Morning-
[Riza Hawkeye was naturally an early riser. It was the nature of her work. Most of the time, she didn't even need an alarm; she woke just before the sun came up and was ready to go about her day. Today

The poor fellow was given a rude and earlier than normal wake up call... that coming by the means of a less than called for beating from... from... someone new. He struggled out to stand and was met with a less than happy woman.]
Whoa, whoa... whoa!!! Calm down...! What am I doin' in your bed? Question is... what're ya doin' in my bed!?
[Yes Hol, that's the perfect way to make an introduction... he probably could've given a better explanation if well... he woke up on better terms.]

That photo! [She might be small, but she was much stronger than she looked, and she was still gripping his collar with one hand, while pointing at the wedding photo on the wall.]
I'm not married, I live alone. [Her voice was getting slightly quieter as she continued.]
How exactly does one wake up married to a man they've never seen before in their life?! I should hope you have a satisfactory explanation for this!

Hey now, yer not the only one out there that lives alone. Okay, wait... back up. Uhm... Ah, yer one of the new folk 'round these parts.
... Ya wake up in this crazy town to live a life ya don't normally live and, well uh...
It's the town, I swear. I don't even know ya!

I hope you weren't expecting that I'd believe such a pathetic explanation. A 'crazy town'?
I'm a First Lieutenant of the state military and you are expecting me to believe that shoddy explanation?
[If he was looking carefully, he'd see her searching the room. If she was supposed to live here, shouldn't there be a gun somewhere? She wasn't going to shoot him--yet--but it would at least provide her with some modicum of comfort, knowing that if she were caught in a dangerous situation she could at least protect herself.]

Okay, I admit I didn't believe it at first but... really! Yer in Mayfield and yer part of some game of some little girl or somethin' and the-- If yer looking fer somethin' from yer home... ya ain't gonna be findin' it right away.
[He's going to try to ease his way out of that grip now.]

Why should I believe you?
[She takes the moment of silence to look more carefully around the room, and sees the photographs with children. Her jaw slacks, just slightly and the anger in her eyes is rapidly turning into confusion. And maybe a tiny bit of panic. She's unarmed with a stranger who is a lot bigger than her. He seems friendly enough but she couldn't be sure that would last.]

Ya should believe me 'cause I'm in the same boat.
... Yer in Mayfield, it's a crazy town that kidnaps the locals.
I ain't never had t'explain this before... Uhm... ya get placed into a house to live a perfect little life with people ya never met... and uh--
[He flinches... afraid to utter the next few words.]
Ya try t'make the most of it?

I apologize. I shouldn't have reacted so harshly. [She pauses, frowning.] I hope I didn't hurt you..
[She makes the decision to not comment on making the most of it. For now, she needs to get her bearings.]
What's your name?
Reply
Hurt me? Nah... just... startled me a bit. Suppose introductions are in order.
[He cleared his throat.]
My name is Hol Horse.

[There is a moment of silence, before her gaze falls onto the wedding band, then to Hol, and then to the photograph on the wall. Her eyes widen.] Am I supposed to be your wife here?
Somebody somewhere has a very cruel sense of humor.

Well... yeah, sorta. I... wouldn't look too much into it. Though if ya run into drones... the city folk who normally live 'round here, they'll up and assume we're just one, big happy family.
Trust me, I'm not a family man, this whole... wife 'nd kids thing is a little strange fer me.

[She sat in a chair that was in the corner of the room, gingerly tugging up at the collar of the nightgown and thankful that her back wasn't to a mirror.] I understand. I don't have a family at home, and I wasn't expecting to suddenly wake up with one, either--
Did you say something about children as well?

[He looked thoughtful, if only for a moment.]
Looks like I'll be needin' t' make me some different sleepin' arrangements.

Ah--yes, Mr. Horse. That...would be good.
Is there another room somewhere in the house that I might use? I wouldn't want to force your from yours.

[He gathers what few items he has and heads to the door.]
If ya need anything, give me a heads up.

[Hawkeye pauses, looking at the floor.] Have you been here long?
