I just watched "Trekkies 2", a sequel to the documentary on Star Trek Fans. There were some bizzare thing there. For instance, a guy in london that had turned his entire apartment into a mock up at a spaceship. It was really impressive. There were people at conventions all over the world, including Brazil and Serbia. They talked to production assistants, who told about the wierd things they got from fans, like a guy who drew pictures and storylines about a starship, presumably the enterprise, with a giant crab on top of it. It would fly through space with a crab on it. But the best were the Star Trek themed bands in Sacramento. My favorate was Stovocore, a heavy metel band with all the members dressup as Klingons. Singing Klingon themed music. And threataning old people who gave them funny looks.
