New Manga
4 days ago, I've come across a manga series that I loved the moment I saw the first chapter's cover page <3
It's called "Kira Kira", and it's in the shounen-ai genre!!
PLOT
The story is about Kaji Ryouta, a college graduate ( I think) who aims to become a photographer. He lives with a few other seniors in a dorm, when suddenly one day his former upperclassman in high school, who he had confessed his love to, had moved into his room.
He's in a condition where he's both happy and awkward towards this sudden arrangement. Happy because he is still in love with this former upperclassman; Miyata Makoto. Awkward because; well, although he had confessed to Makoto after the latter's graduation ceremony, he had been completely dumped, and rejected.
But rooming together seems to let Makoto see sides of Ryouta he never knew. Slowly and steadily, he begins to think he may have made a wrong choice in his rejection to the younger man. Meanwhile, Ryouta's love for his senior just keeps growing, and though he wants to move on, he finds it hard to. When he finally decides to, though, Makoto realizes his feelings....

But would you like to know the thing that REALLY made me be so attracted to the manga? (Maybe you don't; but I'LL SAY IT ASdfJghkjg)

Since I'm an obssessed Maruda fangirl and see MaruDa and or Maru or Ueda once I see a likeness in anywhere I go, or anything I see, I would give my attention to it. And I'm so happy with my decision to read this manga~<3
CHARACTER DESCRIPTION:
Makoto is much like Uepi (or at least how I imagine him in fics), with the brown curly tipped bob-ish hair (from 2007-2010 Uepi haristyle), and the aloof personality mixed with a calm aura and beautiful smile & presence~<3 Also with the way he reacts to events is careful and pretty relaxed mostly. Plus he's unconsciously & densely alluring, charming and sexy.
And Ryouta is so much like Maru (in my imagination) , it's made me ask myself if the author knows KAT-TUN and is one of their fangirls x)) That would be wonderful, though. Much like how the manga author of YamaNade became Kame-chan's fan back in 2010. :)
Ryouta is the hard-working type of person. He works part time jobs to raise money for his future. He is the type to be an easy bullying/teasing target; and he retaliates of course; but falls on deaf ears (most of the time) x)) But he's a person everyone respects, and he's actually a pretty deep person; though that's not what your first impression of him would be. He gives comforting words and accepts everything as is; he's patient, caring, and the definition of kindness.
His hair is much like Nakamaru's 2006~2008 hair style~<3

Even appearance wise; they look like MaruDa.
I swear I'll research on the author; see if she's a fan or not.
Concerning the plot: I LOVE IT.
It's simple, but at the same time unique. It's a kind of story you see and could think of anytime; but the execution done here is exquisite (for me; anyway. I have strange tastes; though...) .
Cute and adorable; that's what I say <3
And character evolution is good...simple. I thought of MaruDa the entire time, though...~<3 Ehehe.
Though, just note; that's just my opinion; and the characters aren't REALLY ALIKE like as the real people. It's just there's a huge similarity in my eyes and own fangirlie world.
Besides, I love the real people themselves more....:P <3
So far, it's not been completely scanlated, having only three chapters so far; but it's status is already complete in Japan (from what I gather). So I will be awaiting the next few more chapters; praying for a happy ending~!!! <3 <3 <3
