Life isn't fair... actually it F***ing SUCKS!
So today after I got off work, I got a call from Zach's Mom. See they have been in a legal battle against the guy that hit his car over a year ago. Seems the police in Prescott confirmed illegal drugs in his system the night of the accident....
And what does he get? His license suspended for a year (over this december) and that is all. No jail time. No money to the families of the lost ones. Nothing. So does he learn his lesson? We can only hope that he has and no one else gets hurts.
He did spend time in the hospital and had to sell his house to cover medical and legal expenses. However it doesn't make up for anything that we've been through, especially those closest to the 3 that were lost. Bastard.
Makes me even more against drugs/drinking/driving.
