Running through my mind

I had a really fun day yesterday. The sermon in chapel filled me with ungiggleable laughter because of the comparison between the FAR/AIM and the Bible, the instrument panel and the Bible, and the general connection between God and the FAA was too ironic. I say ironic because my Bible and my FAR/AIM by virtue of their heights, are right next to each other on my shelf.

After the delightful sermon, i got lunch. Should have gotten the beef, the fish was MUCH better 6 hours after i got it (i got two pieces, ate one when it was still warm, left the other for dinner).

Being the genius that i am, i went for a run immediately following lunch and rediscovered Dead Man's Lake, the pleasant little pond where the biology summer seminar kids spent a lot of our time. I sat and watched the birds and fish for a while and traipsed through the area and ran back to the Hill. Somehow I managed to waste 5 hours on that run. *shrug* must have been the great blue heron. Either way, it was refreshing to go and clear my mind.

I spent the rest of the day working on my homework...styed up til 1:25ish working on an mss paper, went to bed and stayed awake til about 1:45 to 2 am and got up at 5 to go pay a visit to Wing Staff.

cadet lieutenant colonel shawn green loved us. Seriously. He said we were the best group offour degrees to come into the wing staff hallway. He loved us so much that he gave us a reward: we get to come back and show the rest of wing staff how frikin sweet we are. On an unrelated side note my pens are too dull for seppuku and my belt too short to make an effective weight bearing noose.

Anyway, i'm feeling a wee bit tired and i need to print off my five page monstrosity of a paper. I didn't even go into that much detail...
