...the fuck?
So, as y'all should know by now, California has this wonderful little ditty on the voting sheets called Proposition 8, which is a gay marriage ban. Nothing unusual, I'm used to seeing fanatics ceaselessly throwing themselves at the issue. But today as I'm driving to school, I encounter a gaggle of people with picket signs, promoting the proposition. Still, nothing new.
But here comes the WTF: If you read the signs, half of them sport slogans like "Support free speech!" and "Less Government!" and a number of other sound bytes that would make any ordinary passer by go "Yay for American rights!".
So...what, we've now sunk to the level of ball-faced lying to push our laws through?
Or...well, wait, I suppose people have always lied and mislead the uneducated and gullible to benefit themselves.
Nevermind, maybe that's not so wtf.
