Cars are more trouble than they're worth.
Went to the beach yesterday- lost my ring in the water and my sad little bug was towed- not to mention I was stranded until 5:30 when my dad could come get me. I feel really bad about standing up Ashley.
Get this:
$100 towing charge
$45 gate fee
$25 dollars a day storage
It should have cost me $195 (which I don't have) but I did the mature thing and cried (I didn't mean to I swear) all over the towing company guy and he waved the storage and gate fee. I'm only down a hundred, but now I don't have money to buy a homecoming dress or gas for the next month.
Not to mention my parents were pissed- but not as much as I expected.
Moral of the story:
bring a watch and/or lots of quarters where ever you go.
