(no subject)
Tuesday night I met up with tzel for another mexican restaurant test; this time Chapala on 198 in Burtonsville. I gave them a semi-rigorous test, includin a margarita (raspberry!) and their queso. While their queso does not qualify for the title of THE CHEESE DIP, it is quite good in texture and in taste. The margarita was out of this world. All in all, I'd say we'd go there before DP's now. Additional bonuses for the evening: new kitten!!! and a different but no less exciting surprise. Then I accidentally stayed up til 1am working on the costume. Which is nowhere near done, btw.
Last night was a fun adventure too, involving metroing down to visit peregrin8 and the craft night attendees. What I didn't expect was that it would be no crafting and all eating. I had vegan cookies and liked them. I even demonstrated the demonic cookie monster voice for everyone. Oh, and as mentioned last night: The Decemberists.
Saw my new favorite license plate: "PSHAW" as well as one on a mustang: "WO HORSC".
Currently reading: Clive Barker's "The Great and Secret Show" which honestly people, is asstastic. Someone here recommended this to me, and I can't remember who, but whoever you are, thanks!!! Not!!!
I re-signed up for puzzle pirates as it's free again. Like I needed more ways to waste my time.
Tonight is softball though I really, really wish it weren't and I could go home.
