for you people who have been posting shoes? curses!! i cannot be shoe shopping at this time!
but in light of my recent argyle fantasies, i was pleased to see this and this. i'm also excited to find that roos - with pockets - are back! in the meantime i will be forcing myself not to buy several ridiculous choices that i really want, such as cowboy boots with chunky soles. and i know the 80s are back and all, but did they really have to???
also, here is an etiquette tip for you. this is not prompted by any specific recent experience, but i feel it needs to be said. if you are attending a wedding, and the time comes for the bouquet/garter ritual, and you see someone single making a beeline for the smoking area or other exit, DO NOT attempt in any physical way (or really, any verbal way, unless you really think they want to be involved and are unaware that the proceedings are about to commence) to restrain or force this person to be part of the ritual. having had a few drinks by that point isn't really a viable excuse for this behavior. some people don't want to participate, mkay?
