Also: this weekend, someone (scrump I believe) said, "Oh, you're the snide girl that's not really snide!". And I was like, dang. Am I really not all that snide? I guess so. Do I need to change my name now?

And I forgot to mention: I had fried turkey on Sunday. Yum.

You went through a snide phase, though, as I recall. I remember you before that, even, actually. Back in your freshman days at VT. :)

I think it's more that I have snide moments now and then. I only WISH I had been more snide in my freshman year at VT...

Actually, I meant that I knew you BEFORE you were snide. You had some pretty good reasons to be snide now and again later on in college. :)

Well, let's see, you catch flak for being snide, then you catch flak for not being snide. I can go punch em in the face if needed.

It's ok, he said it in a nice way. But you're right, I can't seem to win on that count. I'll have to focus on not censoring my snide.

It seems like you feel guilty when you let yourself be snide. :)

Sorry I missed bookclub - my nap ended up being a bit longer than I anticipated.

Book Club was swell, sorry you couldn't make it. Luckily, there's always next month...

It's true. I hate being mean, and often I miss the mark of snide and move right on to mean.

I am sorry you missed book club too! I hope you can make the next one.

i have to agree, i haven't seen you snide. granted, i haven't known you that long, but it seems to me you have to much conscience/empathy to be really snide. >;) not that that's a bad thing, mind you...

i'm so jealous! i so wanted to try fried turkey and see everybody -- admittedly, in that order, 'cause i do enjoy trying new foods. >:( dang virus, keeping me all home on thanksgrabbing.

Passionate, idealistic, yes, outspoken also. I've never been able to see the snide, personally.

Aww.... golly.

Here, I found some snide! I save it up for the communities maybe.
