Image Heaviness Ahoy

Flickr, we need to talk.  Specifically, we need to discuss how your monthly upload limit is preventing me from sharing pictures of the Fatally Adorable Kitten.  Also, I am not pleased with how your photo-quota pushes old pictures off my account, thereby hiding the sets containing previous fosters.  Dick move, Flickr.  Dick move.

Photobucket, sweetie, please take me back!  I don't even care that you default to larger image sizes!

Noooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

She's very particular about keeping her feet clean.

You should know that this picture makes me squeal like a two year old.

Tiny Secretary will assist you with your filing.

Last night, I was playing laser tag with the big cats when I heard the crate door squeak.  I grabbed up my camera and ran to the office to snap a picture, which Nick protested.  "The world can never know!"  But the world will know that he was snuggling the kitten, and also that he let her nap on his lap for an hour or so.

After a long day of slaughtering virtually everyone who stepped foot in my office, London needs a nap.

It's funny but, as she gets bigger, I can see her markings begin to darken.  In some of these photos you can see that half of her face is a brighter white than the other (it's really obvious in the pictures where she's flipped on her back).  Plus, there's this vivid white streak on her chest, as well as some mottling down her back.  That says "Ragdoll" more than "Siamese", I think.  But we'll never know for sure.

Developmentally, I can already see growth: her ears have gone from flaps to functioning, swiveling triangles, her tail becomes less stubby by the day and she's waddling instead of crawling.  Her hygiene has impressed me since day one.  This kitten has never made a mess.  When she needs to use the bathroom, she fusses and squirms and generally lets you know to take her out of her box.  When set down in a litterbox, she immediately takes care of business and cries to be removed, since the sides are too high for her to climb.  This has made it really easy to keep her at the office, since a shoebox with a thin layer of litter is all she needs, so long as I keep an eye on her signals.  I wish all my fosters had been so good about refusing to pee where they sleep!

She's got some 'tude, though.  This 'gnawing on hands' thing has got to stop.  So far the Disapproving Noise has worked, but I'm not sure she's up to retaining experiences yet.  She has begun to play, which is adorable when you factor in the lack of coordination.  SwatswatFALL.

The office has been woefully unproductive this week.  I wonder why.
