So.  Birthday money.  What to do with it?

My knitting grandma sent me a $25 gift certificate to KnitPicks.  Which is dangerous, as they are the makers of the interchangeable needles I've been coveting (those, and cash money towards a new Ipod were all I suggested when the family asked...my current Ipod won't even hold a charge for an hour, but unexpected car payments ate into my "New Toys!" savings). But, you know what else they've got?  A ball winder, on sale for $20!  I would not have to bother Michelle anymore!  And blocking mats!  It would be so nice not to have to use towels...And yarn, of course.  KnitPicks has lots of yarn.

Birthdays are bad.  I don't really ask for a bunch of stuff, but I do go nuts buying things for MYSELF.  I don't need the excuse to be greedy!

The sibling is in town this weekend!  We are going to the Raleigh Artsplosure tomorrow.  It's too crowded to be much of a group outing, but I really encourage other Raleigh-area people to go!  There was some awesome stuff there, last year.
