I'm officially two days behind, and a weekend trip to the beach is NOT going to help matters. I'll consider this NaNo a success if I make it through fifteen pages (or to the point where Ikue stops by to grill the fish man (PUN), whichever comes first).
So this looks to be turning into a page every-other-day kind of thing. I hope to beat fifteen pages. If I can do that, I will be pleased.
Actually, I'll be pleased if I can get Trey's soggy ass out of the harbor by the end of the month.
It's true, she sinks like a lead brick.
Okay, so Roarke complains a lot (a lot a lot), but I think it's adorable that his first reaction to the naked corpse is to cover the little girl's eyes. Even if it means she probably sprained both his wrists.
I crapped out on backgrounds this time. Even at my slow pace, this page was giving me a hard time. There's so much physical character interaction and weird foreshortening in three of the four panels, and it was pretty time consuming. I'm not thrilled with the first panel, though I'm pretty pleased with the rest. Expressions are once again pretty ace, and Roarke's dive is pretty cool! I feel like it deserves a spiffy background, though. I'm sorry, Roarke.
Lynn is holding his shoes and socks for him, in case anyone wondered.
