Well, I really don't come up until Lemony's eleventh book. And the Unathorized Autobiography, of course.

Excuse me, Miss Kit, I'd love to read about you, but to my dismany, all 4 copies of The Grim Grotto were taken out of my local library, so I was wondering if you could lend me a copy so I can learn more about you. If not, I understand, but that's the only book I haven't managed to find in a library and I'm afraid after being fined for $100 for sleeping during a 4 a.m. fire drill at my college, so I don't have much money to spend on hardcover books. Any hints on how to find a copy of this would be appreciated.

That is a dilemma.

I must say, though, that I find the bit about the fine to be fair. Fire drills are very important, and you must never sleep through them. Imagine if you slept through a real fire!

Most libraries will take requests for books - simply say that you'd like to request a certain book that's out at the moment, and they'll have it held for you when it comes in again. I've done that many times.

For further reading about myself and my brothers, you might also want to check out Lemony Snicket: The Unauthorized Autobiography, which is available in paperback.
