Interesting development in my life...
... my friend at work found an advert in the Guardian Education supplement for a job teaching in Japan. The date had expired, but I banged off an e-mail and job-friendly CV anyway and today they Fed-Ex'd me all the info and a date for the interview at the London Hilton. Pretty cushy job - £18k p.a., flat with all mod-cons, free money for stuff, teaching kids, bountiful holiday...
... so I'm going to that and hoping I'll get it! If I do, I don't think I've got any choice but to take it, which is a bit scary. I mean, I'll be in St Petersburg and I hope that I'm still with Natasha, so that'd be a hard decision. However, the reason I applied and am quite excited about it is because things aren't going well with her - she's systematically pissing me off - and things seem ripe for a change.
But first of all I have to get the job, which isn't at all certain. If it's advertised in the Guardian, it means I'll have stiff competition :P
