I am FIT.

Played this game of squash monday - exactly even, right down the line. It went: 2-0, 0-2, 1-1 all 9-9 in the last game: we quit because it was getting late. I held the bastard, and this kid is pretty good - bit of a natural sportsman, playing football for Swindon (ahahah) and the like.

Oh my, I've actually taken the whole day off work to post a letter. It's an important letter and I need to get some stuff together to go into it. I also need to forge something that goes in it, and have a cheeky photo of me done. But still, I'm a fucking lazy bastard. What I've done so far is: Lie In. Play GTA 3. Forge an official document. Ring some people.

Could life get any better? Later I'm going for a jog in the rain and then starting to re-read The Man Who Was Thursday - suddenly I've come over all Chesteron-Kafka-Doyle. Actually, I got as far as "It was a cold morning in the Saffron Park..." before blowing shit up appealed.

I was talking to somebody about globalization yesterday and I realised I could never be anti-globalization, at all. I was sitting there drinking French wine after an Italian meal listening to Swedish girls playing a Polish composition and downloading a Russian visa application to send to Scotland on a South Korean made American computer. There are some things you can never be. At the moment, I also can't be a conservative because I simply can't afford such views.

And the reason I was drinking red wine alone - it's my Chateua Clauzet 1999 and I realised I'd better drink it before I go to Russia. I also have 2 bottles of Sancerre to polish off.

Siobhan Croll, you're breathtakingly beautiful even in the morning ;-)
