Just went for this PHat bike ride, which unfortunately was on top of a hill. It's an old airbase that's now been made into a common (it's Greenham Common Airbase, which is kind of famous). Anyway, it's got awesome bits for mountain biking with crazy bumps and stuff, and lots of trees and stuff to shelter under, and a big flat barren bit 3 miles long and half-a-mile wide where the runway used to be. So I parked up there and lay down to sunbathe. It was awesome because the only sounds were annoying insects and some helicopter. There were no humans for 2 miles in one direction and 4 or 5 in the other, except some cows, which aren't human anyway.
It was pleasant and I'm going back again with suncream because it was like a scorching desert up there. A desert with trees and grass and water. So I had to call it short before the midday sun burnt me.
