going Dutch

Just had a quality day with my FAMILY in London following my BIRTHDAY yesterday. We went to see LES MISERABLES which is an AWESOME musical, and this was truely amazing. Jon from S Club 7 played Marius! Then we went for a tasty meal at a real swanky joint somewhere in the West End.. Ketterens or something.... wine was GOOD, food was EXCELLENT, and it even had some piano music. Waitresses/waiters expressionless.

The TRES romantic tale and wine put me in the mood for getting SQUIFFY and seducing ANYBODY, but unfortunately my plans to do that with a girl in Newbury (Suzie) fell through! I decided the way forward is to start DATING again, because at the very least this gives you a reason to enjoy a classy night without feeling lonely or gay.

So if anybody would like to go on a DATE let me know! No strings attached, so we'll go halves on the meal ;-)

This is mostly because I want more evenings at restaurants, followed by coffee in the lounge and then maybe a jaaaazz club.. proper stuff, not smokey pubs any more!

Unfortunately lately my plan was to apply to be an ASSISTANT PROPERTY MANAGER with the National Trust at a place called LINDISFARNE CASTLE in Northumberland, for £13000 p.a. This would be a QUALITY JOB even if lowly paid and then in 2 years I'd become a PROPERTY MANAGER hopefully (£25k).

However, I see that the scope for evenings at the theatre and good restaurants would be quite limited, and the scope for meeting new people might be even more limited, so I'm not at all sure this is what I want. At first the idea of sodding civilization and getting a castle as a country retreat appealed, but now I think I want to throw myself into a faster lane.

TRICKY ONE. It's such a problem having your whole life ahead of you and being able to do anything with it ... ;-) Feel my pain.

Later xx
