(no subject)
wow, alots gone on in the past couple days!
so tuesday was my first graduation practice. it was so gay. it took forever. lets forget about that. after practice i went to king of prussia with my aunt! we ate lunch at the cafe in nordstrom, and the food was so good. i got some sundried tomato and basil panini. yum. then we did some mad shopping, and i shopped for another couple hours after she left haha. i bought a dress to go under my graduation gown, half the summer collection in hollister (3 shirts, 2 pairs of bermuda shorts haha), an ezra fitch tank from abercrombie (which actually took forever to pick out cuz the entire backroom of the store was on sale), and a Bebe shirt. yay.
then wednesday was all about prom! woke up, got my manicure. so glad i waited to get the manicure til the day of, cuz my polish was chipping already by the time the dance started. so if id gotten it any earlier my nails wouldve looked like total crap. i went to buy jason's buttonier but forgot to actually get the thing after i bought it. i guess i was kind of nervous? haha. yea so 20 mins after i left the place the lady called and was like, do you actually want the buttonier? so i had to drive back there. then at 2 i went to get my hair done at the hair place jason's stepsister works at. she did an amazing job. it took her 2 hours cuz we're both perfectionists, and i think she used an entire box of bobby pins plus a ton of hairspray, but it turned out so well. mrs romano rushed me home, and i only had about 45 mins to do makeup and get dressed before everyone came over for pics and stuff. 45 mins was really all i needed though. actually, i was ready in like 20 mins haha. the other 25 mins i just kept coming up with stuff i needed to do haha. and then everyone came! the romanos came first (jason's parents i mean), and then jason, the car, and the driver came. my parents wanted me to walk down the stairs when jason came in, i guess some sort of entrance? haha. whatever. so i did it. the look on his face when he saw me was so cute. it made me smile. he looked so nice. and we matched well. his parents and stepsister were like in shock. they were like you look so pretty! it mae me happy haha. we did the whole corsage/buttonier exchange thing, and then kyle mike and laura came down. trev and madison were supposed to come but they got lost and ended up meeting us at avivas house later. and aviva wasnt there cuz she was in hair and makeup til like 515 or something. so yea. so then my parents, jasons parents, kyles parents, and mikes parents took pictures of all of us. id post them all but id rather just show them to you guys at my graduation party haha. i'll post a couple though. later in the entry. so anyway. after pics, we all went to avivas. me and jason went in the car. which actually looked quite nice. it wasnt the old people car. it was a dodge magnum. not a luxury vehicle but it really didnt look bad. it had leather seats and a tv in the back. after avivas we went to the country club for the prom!!!!!!!!! i liked how it was set up, cuz each car would pull up individually around the circle at the entrance, so each couple/group would get out of their cars/limos and there were a ton of teachers and underclassmen not staying at the dance standing outside to take pics. i felt kind of like a celebrity getting out haha. it was neat. i enjoyed seeing everyone else get out of their cars/limos and seeing how pretty they all looked. some people just looked absolutely amazing. i love seeing people so dressed up. the black people were kind of funny, cuz alot of them got their stuff custom made, so they really coordinated! some couples looked really good, but others i think took the matching thing a little too far haha. the food was alright. i ended up eating the roast beef cuz the chicken was breaded and stuffed with ham. and i try not to eat breaded chicken and i def. dont like ham. the table was kind how i expected, but better. and we didnt have to sit at it too long, cuz once dinner was done everyone was dancing. it was so hot on the dance floor but it was sooo fun! me and jason danced pretty much the whole time. it was so cute, during some of the slow songs hed sing in my ear. and he has a really good voice so it was really nice : ) mrs mcvey of course was out on the floor dancing with everyone, which was funny. she danced with kyle haha. after the dance, everyone left for afterprom. it was nice to finally get out of the dress haha. kahunaville was decorated with a hawaiian theme. we got lei--d when we got out of the car, and then each couple had to walk down this path where all the parents and other random picture takers were, and then at the end of the path just before the door wed stop at this little archway while ms. h said our names. inside kahuna there was a sumo wrestling ring set up, complete with fat suits; a moon bounce that was actually an obstacle course; tons of casino games, karaoke, a chocolate fondue station, and of course all the games. i wrestled jason and beat him twice. i did the obstacle course first with erica cheeseman and beat her, and then with jason and lost to him. played blackjack for awhile. me and erica joked about doing karaoke but didnt haha. plus i got a cold the day before and my voice sounded like total shit. i also got my period the day of, but i dont think anyone needed to know that haha. after after-prom i had to come home. if i were allowed to go out after i totally wouldve, but honestly we were so tired so it prlly wouldnt have been that fun anyway. erica said she went to seth's party and everyone who'd been at prom was just like laying around, and the only people really partying were the people that didnt actually go to prom.
i didnt go to bed til around 5 thursday morning. i wokeup at 945 cuz of my stupid cold, but it was all the same cuz me and jason were planning to go to the beach. john v was gonna come and i invited my friend jackie from work but she had a final so she didnt come. so it was just me and jason. i drove down there and we got to the beach around 130. we were so tired and we were falling asleep laying out and then like a half hour later it started thundering. once lifeguards saw lightening they kicked us all off the beach. me and jason got lunch at grottos hoping that when we were done the storm would be over. but it wasnt. so we went to my car, and as soon as we got in it it started pouring. so the beach was a total waste of gas and being awake. jason slept the whole way home, and i did my best not to sleep the whole way home haha. when we got back to his house we were gonna go to sleep but then he decided he wasnt tired anymore. damn haha. i ended up going to bed at like 10 last night, after taking motrin for my headache and nyquil for my cold. mustve knocked me out pretty well cuz i slept through my alarm this morning and ended up being late for graduation practice. whoops!
i cant believe today was my last day being a student in mount pleasant high school. and sunday i graduate. its so weird. and then i leave for college in like, 3 months. my goodness. my graduation party should be fun on saturday though! yay : )
aw, jason leaves for basic training in 5 days and im not gonna see him again til like the week before i leave for college.
ugh i wish i wasnt sick.
