I suck at updating. sue me. (aka: this month in retrospect)
I last updated on the 11th, at 4:13pm. That night Sarah and I went out for Thai food. After we'd ordered, but before we got the chicken satay, I got a call from my dad. My Grandpa was really sick. He had a few days to live, so instead of seeing my family over the weekend down in lexington, I went up to Indy... then Chicago. Had a really horrible weekend, but I got to say goodbye.
I had a really rough week, and I took a lot of it out on Jordan, which I didn't mean to do. Even through all my moodiness, though, he was there. And he let me ditch class and sleep in his bed while he studied. (he's kind of a good guy.) I was also on edge the whole week, every time my mom would call from her cell phone I would freak out.
That weekend, Jordan's sister, Ellen, and her boyfriend, Jared, came to visit. We went on a double, and rented movies... it was a lot of fun, and I like Ellen a lot. Jordan had literally just gotten back from walking them out when my dad called. I just about collapsed into Jordan's arms, and he held me for a long time.
The wake was Tuesday the 22nd, and the funeral was Wednesday. Then we had Thanksgiving Thursday... which sucked, just a little. I'm sorry I didn't see anyone over t-giving break (except for Whit), but I was really not in the mood.
I got back from break, and then we had a week of classes, dead week, and finals week.
My finals have gone fine so far, I turned in a paper for English, took my anthro final, and my 8am bio final... all I have left is my logic final today at 3:30...
I'll be home tomorrow afternoon sometime. I can't wait to see all of you! Jordan's coming up over New Year's, and then we're going Oak Parking, and to Chicago... so I want to see all of you, too.
