Haven't been blogging and recording events here on this space! Been pretty busy, but I've been recording down all my happenings in my handy iPhone. :)
This semester is coming to an end on 2 May! Bidding goodbye to Human Resource Management and World Literature really soon. These 2 modules are pretty heavy! Especially lit. We have to do readings and discussions everyday. Poems, short stories... you name it, we read it. Reading stories is totally not my type but I've done all of it anyway! Even those extra credit ones that are not compulsory. Proud of myself! It'll be unlike me if I don't do what it supposed to.
For every HR class we can bring in interesting newspaper articles and if need to, prof will request you to share the article with the class if yours is interesting. I've shared mine a couple of times! I think my professor's way of teaching is really brilliant. I'm sure not all of us read the newspaper daily and we don't get updated on important news promptly. This method of sharing interesting and important news with everyone is just brilliant. Not only everyones gets to update themselves, I think the speaker's confidence is given a boost every time he/she speaks. Loving HR classes! I'm also interested in this area of the hotel..perhaps when I graduate. (Soon enough!)
For Lit, we formed different groups in class and we were all assigned a story (that we all read and needed to discuss online). Then we need to film the story! Making it as creative as possible, to show the prof JOHNSON (hehehe, I like the prof really, not because of his name only) that we understand the play thoroughly. My group, is already done with filming!!! Yay can't wait for the end product. (Our mass comm friends Pong and Clar got to do more work for us because they've done this before. Thank you so much.) Our filming days were so fun, I like this group of friends. I love all of them. Thanks Christy and Mel Ang for lending us their homes for filming!
Some pictures :) Yeah, we had fun alright! (Hard work, too! Filming started as early as 9 or 10am...)
