AniMex 09
So, yep, yesterday, i went to this year´s Anime / Comic Convention made here in Monterrey NL, Mexico.
There is not much to report this time tho, most of the time i had to babysit my sister, wi h had nobody else to go with, my brother was supposed to take the baton after some hours, but that dumb thing forgot to recharge his cellphone and i could never call him.
The place was crowded, it was difficult to walk and even more to watch stands, still, we managed to see it all, same stuff as usual, this year´s fancy stuff relating GoW2 and Death Note, as usual, there was like 233 Naruto cosplayers, and around 200 from his less famous friends, triple the guys and girls with Naruto bandanas, man where did creativity end?
Anyways, not everything was lost, i noticed a pretty girl cosplaying Black Rose from .hack// ( only problem there it´s the poor girl has been bringing that one like for..the 3rd year now, still hawt tho), a looot of girls in french maid uniforms ( no complains there ), and even a pair of pichu styled dresses, quite cute.
We were going to assist to the day´s Cosplay contest but that place filled up quickly and we could not get in after all, in the end, i managed to find my brother an hour before close up, it was okay tho, there was nothing i really wanted, sometimes i wonder why i keep going, the only stuff i wanted was a bit too expensive for my budget, why? cause my bro had the money for my sister, and since i thought we were not going to find him after all, i had to spend mines for my siste´s stuff, we found him after all but i didn´t ask him for his money back, these two enjoy this places more than me, so i let him buy some extra stuff.
I found a lot of friends, i even saw Magolobo´s and Jesonite´s stands at the artist´s area, i wanted to say hi to Magolobo, but he was not around when i passed by, i saw Jeso, or i think i did, but i was kinda in a hurry and felt a lil bit shy about talking in a hurry.
Well that was pretty much it, got my siblings into a friend´s car back to home city and i stayed and went back to my apartment, i managed to buy something after all tho:
- A COG tag from Gear of War 2
- A Dumpling!
P.S. Ohh and i saw someone in a Tai Lung disguise too!! Few-king amazing!! hahaha <3 <3
