i win!
today was absolutly amazing! i didn't think it was going to be, but it snuck up behind me and dumped a basin of euphoria. which doesn't make sense, but maybe this'll help.
some people go places warm and sunny and wish for deliciously temperate climates on their spring breaks. i wish for snow and cold and more winter, because a month in december just isn't enough. And i got it! starting at about 9 last night and ending today at around 3 it was snowing, hardcore wet stuff. 9 inches of it baby! i drove through it and it was amazing, i kept laughing at random times during the drive because i felt so alive. going only 25 mph down a highway, your car shuddering over the bumps in the compacted snow layer, spraying up slush, your turns being too wide for what you turned the wheel for and the accompanying jolt as the car rights itself is like a bomb of excitment rushing around detonating and detonating again. i felt kind of bad though, for the lady that spun perpindicular to traffic in I-94, and the bunches of people in ditches, but they should be more careful. if Clairabel (my* car) can get through amazingly like she did, anything can.
barnes and noble when no one is there is also kinda cool. i browsed the comic book section, and then got a graphic novel, which is just the first 10 giant x-men comics. never getting them as a kid makes me jealous now. also, the last continent is a riot! (sheesh i really do talk like a 70 yr. old person). then driving some more, and catching my gramma on a good day, and endorphins from shoveling lots, and knocking down the mountain of snow the wind builds outside my window made me happy. and i actually called people, the red cross, mrs. stassen, my sisters... usually it takes longer for me to get used to a phone. so now i can donate platlets twice, and hopefully get a job there for the summer.
the only bummer is i can't find solarquest, but i did find the aladdin suite, and the oriental march is so strong and ... i don't know what.
