(no subject)
I went to bed early last night- but I don't feel much rested. I think my thyroid levels are off again, I guess I should go back in for another blood draw.
Saturday night Caitlyn and I went to see "13 going on 30" - very cute movie. When we got back home, watched Dr. G medical examiner. Caitlyn loves those kinds of shows. Then we watched Jaws 1 & 2. We were in bed by 11:00-
Sunday arrived at the pool at 7:00. Bill showed up and so did Gary and Gloria (Scott's parents). Caitlyn shaved off 12 seconds in her 200 free. That was great... Coach Bob came over to talk to me- and then asked who are these people (referring to G&G) they both said at the same time "We're Caitlyn's grandparents". And then Bill stood up and shook Coach Bob's hand and said "I'm her dad". Coach Bob said "I think we've got something pretty special with this little swimmer!!" Everyone agreed. It was a cute moment.
After the swim meet I took Caitlyn and a friend of hers to the beach. It was a perfect day for the beach. After the beach, we cruised over to Sam's club, stocked up on chicken and beef. I made chicken fried rice for dinner- walked to Cold Stone for ice cream, made it home in time to watch the Simpson's. Then we crawled into my bed, where we watched several episodes up Punk'd. I was out by 9:30 I believe.
Tonight Caitlyn's swim team is going on a 20 mile bike ride. I don't think I will go, my knee... ouchie. Tomorrow- there was some talk about loserintraining and I doing happy hour. Is that still a go "C". Wednesday going to the Lynx game with Gary and Gloria. Thursday hanging out with my friend Suzy. Friday hmmm, don't know. No more softball. State swim meet over the weekend at the UofM. Might go out with Suzy Saturday night. We will see.
I have several projects on my plate right now. Working on a luau for the swim club on the 5th of August, another fundraiser on the 12th, loserintraining's bridal shower on the 8th, loserintraining stag party on the 14th (hehehe). I think we (nordicgrrl, joyrock, & svenden and I) are going to down town mpls on the 13th. That is going to be fun, no doubt.
Hoping to meet a guy by the name of Lowell.
