I am in Kansas

I am going to work SO MUCH this break. It is amazing. I will be so rich. Of course, this also means that I will barely get to go shopping with Mommy, but I will make time to do that. Shopping is important. I'll take her birthday off work. I'll be working Monday through Friday 9-5 and Saturday 10-4, and one Sunday 10-4. Yessssss!!! And of course I take off to go to Florida. oh man oh man.

Are stores open Sundays in Kansas? Stores like Express and DSW? Who knows.

Misty cat is precious. We fall asleep together, and then when I wake up she comes back and we rest for about an hour or so. I really missed her, and I think she missed me.

Two grad students are from Kansas, but I'm not going to friend them.

We are having latkes tonight because we haven't had any. I really don't like being away from home for Hanukkah. While yes, I do get a whole bunch of presents at once, turning the blocks on my wooden Hanukkiah is not as fun as lighting real candles. And it's no good when I'm the only one who knows the prayers. There needs to be other people singing. I was really happy to go to my family's party though. They even sang songs. My favorite part is when everyone is gathered around lighting candles and singing songs. I don't get that at Drew. Hopefully next year Hanukkah won't be so early. MAYBE MOMMY WILL MAKE FALAFEL THIS BREAK?!?! OMG!!!

Clay is very smart. I love dating him. He fixed my rainlendar from CT.

I want more grades post haste. I only have one so far!!! What is up with that???

Now I have to go clear the table. I slave away the second I come home. Last night I washed dishes. Woe is me.
