It was a really lovely day today. After work, Sandi and I took off for the State Park and, as always, adventures followed. The drive through wine country was absolutely beautiful. The houses and wineries are so beautiful/cute/cool looking. Sandi and I picked out houses there. As it so happens, after we evict the current residents, we'll be neighbors. We also learned that quaint little towns only have real sit down restaurants, which is kinda annoying. I am not a fan of Santa Rosa, nor the way people drive there. BUT after all that madness and some food, we made it to the park. We hiked up to a pioneer cemetary and looked at all the old and broken gravestones. Then we hiked up to the Bale Mill, which is about 2.2 miles roundtrip; a lot was uphill on rocky terrain. I will definitely say that my poor body was not used to that and I definitely was sore when we first started, got out of breath, and worked up a sweat. I'm so out of shape. It was really pretty and foresty and the mill was really cool. Afterwards, we went to Target in Napa on the way home for some refreshments (as we were pretty dumb and didn't bring any. Or sunscreen. Or bug repellant.) where my Icee viciously attacked me. My left thigh was pretty much covered in Icee and sticky. Not fun. But, I sure did enjoy this nice little trip.

I have really big front teeth :/
Milly goodness. :)
By this time next week, I will have been to visit my family in Victorville and will most likely be in Long Beach or on the way there. And then, two days of DISNEYLAND. I'm loving September.
