So, OK, he's got a gay best friend that maybe doesn't exercise the best judgment when he's drunk. So what? Jared's still friends with Chad, and Chad doesn't exercise any sort of judgment ever.

Favorite lines of this chapter. And I think sometimes incorporating Chad by reference really is enough. =)

Thanks! I was worried the breakdown was a little overdone but on rereading it seems less dramatic than I thought it was.

Now we know the other reason Jensen comes across as shy, and Jared got really egregiously dumped in one night, and now they're kinda more on the same page only NOT because Jensen is totally in love with Jared, isn't he? I mean, how could he not be? And Jensen is just so kind and funny, and Jared is awkward and hilarious and sweet as he can be, and --
