not!fic that follows Always One Foot on the Ground

So, yeah, I wrote a lot of story that I couldn't actually fit into my bandomstuffsit story in time to make the deadline, so this starts up right where Always One Foot on the Ground leaves off, right in the same scene and everything.

So I had a lot written and then I made some not!fic to tie it all together and here you go.

( They're dozing again, sometimes waking enough to exchange sleepy kisses, when Ryan walks in. )

Ohh, this is gorgeous and I LOVE it. I think - I hope - I left a comment on the fic as posted to that effect, and this is so delightful as an addition, and omggggggg, THEM. Poor Brendon being lonely and then Ryan and Spencer and the parade of awkward, and I cracked up so much at Ryan being all "this awkward I am actually okay with", and then the notficcy bits and the rest of it and in conclusion, somewhat incoherently: YAY. Thank you so much for sharing this. <3

No, no, don't be conflicted about writing a breakup story if you're comparing it in your head to this one. We can all write stories on the same theme and they'll all be different.

Brendon realizes that Spencer showing up like that is a gesture, that maybe in Spencer language it means that Spencer's falling in love with him, too, which is amazing.

oh the entire thing! this is exactly the sort of thing i wish existed for every single story that i ever loved.

and it's particularly gorgeous the way you tell their meandering and gorgeously believable story. so much love! so glad you posted! ♥
