a few weeks ago i bought jeans at Express. i thought that this would somehow diminish me as a person, but it hasn't. although i'm fairly certain that shopping at abercrombie or hollister would indeed make me sub-human.
i like to keep a tin of mixed nuts at my desk for snacks. it makes me feel like i'm making a metaphorical statement about my co-workers, but i'm not really. we're all sane there. i think i would feel differently if i carried a tin with me just about anywhere else.
