Why not? If someone is lost and out of supplies, they need to eat what they can.

Yeah, it should be easy, but people either don't get enough supplies for themselves [Ocelot.] or they get lost trying to go through "shortcuts" [Huey.].

... Hnn... But that's why having the Pokemon with you is a good idea. They can find some form of civilization, and your Gear is helpful, too. The map's also a good thing to check.
