If all goes well I should be declaring my English major sometime in the next week! I guess I am a huge geek but the thought of that makes me ridiculously excited, in a butterflies-in-my-stomach way. More likely than not I am probably bonding myself to a life of potential unemployment and compulsive bookshelf-buying, but for now, well. AM EXCITED.
On a not-so-good note, I cannot identify stressed and unstressed syllables in anything but iambic pentameter. HEXAMETER, WOT. D: D: D: I read Longfellow's Evangeline and all I can think is YAY THIS IS LIKE THE STORY OF BEREN AND LÚTHIEN (except for the part where they are both human) with the pretty forests and archaic language and sylvans and druids. My professor was all gleeful and went, THIS IS AVATAR. I heart my professors.
