(no subject)
some strange combination of
a) too much of shannon's goddamned chocolate,
b) too much coffee,
c) not enough lovely macrobiotic food,
d) going to sleep at four [ and not even finishing the paper until this morning,
e) waking up at 7 [ and not even hearing the alarm go off; thank god it woke up shannon ],
f) smoking a morning cigarette in the courtyard [ damn you new york and the constant cloud around eugene lang ]
g) a general increase in stress
caused me to get all lightheaded in New York Intellectuals and on my way out to get water, pass out, slam against a wall, collapse on the floor half in a different classroom full of people, and be otherwise extremely embarrassed by my entire essay class offering me water and dried cranberries and chairs to sit in and solutions for dizziness. the professor was so cool about it, though. i felt embarassed.
i sat in the hall for a while with my head between my legs.
i'd never passed out before.
no more morning cigarettes.
no more late nights taking mutant photobooth pictures.
no more working the box office on monday nights!!! fifty dollars is not worth collapsing into full classrooms.
but in other news, i am probably completely healthy, and i get to see regina spektor on wednesday and sufjan EFFIN stevens on friday.
its sunny but kind of chilly
i'm going to go buy gloves and tickets for knitting factory shows.
i love new york.
