Walk this way...

Doing a lot better than when I last posted. A lot. Made a project of not going crazy and seems to be one of very few of my current projects I've completed (yes, I still think up a new thing to make each day and so very few get finished). Have kept myself busy but not in the mad running around trying to be everywhere at once and running myself ragged way, as is the usual, more in that I have been keeping my mind full of ideas and such but knowing when to just sit still and let them wash over me. I could still do with another two pairs of arms and maybe an extra 500kb of brain RAM but I’ll get things done eventually. I’ve found my balance again, very happy about this.

I'm currently giving myself a 12 day deadline (the only way these things don't end up half made and in a waiting line of things that need finishing for years) to complete a design I have had mulling in my brain meats for years now and have finally decided to give form to. It’s been a fun process so far and I’ve tweaked the design more in the last 2 days than I have in 2 years. I'm making a pair of digitigrade/unguligrate stilts to facilitate the creation of a realistic fawn/satyr costume. Its coming on well and have already nearly completed one foot (or at least finished all the harder labour side of them). I've found a guy online who seems to have made the exact design I’ve been bumbling over for an age which is proving very useful as I’m trying to make something a little steeper and higher which is good to base on a less suicida-... I mean ambitious project. Shall pop some photos up when I’ve finished. If it works, I want to make a lil' 'how to' so I can remember the exact process.

I've got up to sooooo much since I last posted, don't really know where to start... in fact, looking at the time I don't think I should start at all. I'll leave it for another ramble.
