I finished the rough draft for one of two final research papers. The other isn't due until Thursday so I have a little more time. I also finished three other assignments and got some pictures printed out for my final project, which is due Wednesday. I'll have to go in and work on that tomorrow evening.
It's a monotype print with a plate of plexiglass, and I'm using dry point to etch my design into the plate. Then you kind of work the ink into the grooves and run it through the press with a piece of print paper that's had time to soak. It picks up the ink really nicely that way and it looks pretty damn badass, too. I just have to etch the plate and I'm good to go. I gotta figure out where I'm putting each image, though. I'll probably put pictures of it up on Facebook when I'm done. I think it'll turn out really well.
I'll feel a lot better tomorrow when my presentations are done and I get some things turned in. A LOT better. I already feel less stressed after getting those rough drafts done. Late night lab time is making my life much easier.
