Today has been a surprisingly glorious day.

It started slow, since I was more than reluctant to leave my bed this morning. I've been sleeping like a rock these past few nights, though. I haven't felt this well-rested in a long time. I was just so comfortable. But the sun came out today, and if you're in the sun it's actually pretty warm.

I feel more confident about my linguistics mid-term on Thursday because I learned that it's open note and open book, and there's also a take-home portion that isn't due until Tuesday. So that stress has pretty much lifted, and I'm pretty sure I can get the last chapter for American Indian Experience read before Thursday. I might write my next paper for Theory about Fools Crow, the book we're reading in Am. Ind. Exp. It's a great book, and it goes along with what Freud writes about dreaming things and believing that because you dream them, they happen. Dreams are SUPER significant in Fools Crow. One of the best books I've ever read.

I thought I was getting sick, but a single dose of Nyquil knocked me out and then the next morning I felt great. So I probably wasn't sick. Which makes me real happy.

Great day. Off to the rec center for some elliptical machine fun. And possibly 30 minutes of the bike because I have a lot of energy.
