Story Time!

K so heres this weird story that popped into my head as a response to some recent questions I've been having about religion and God and whatnot...so here it is..
Greg Dreyer presents
um nevermind I guess I don't really have a title for it.
once upon a time there was a person named (___). (___) lived in a small town but didn't really know anybody that lived there. One night, while (___) was working in a small office building, the building suddenly caught fire. The townspeople rushed to put out he blaze, but (___) was still trapped inside. Everyone was afraid to enter the burning building to try and help (___). But then, one man decided to step forward and enter the raging inferno.
"Don't do it!" cried another man "There's no way to save (___)"
"But I love (___)." replied the courageous person. "Would you leave someone you loved in a situation like this?" And with that, the man raced inside, calling out for (___).
"I'm over here!" yelled (___) "I can't move though, I'm trapped under a heavy beam! Please, whoever you are, help me!" The brave man tried to get to (___) but was only able to reach him with his arm.
"Grab my hand!" He yelled.
"Move closer, I can't reach you!" said (___).
"Yes you can! please, we have to work together to get you out of this!" came the man's reply.
"B-but...I'm scared." whimpered (___)
"Don't be! I can help you, just trust me,please. I want to help you!"
And with that, (___) reached for the man and was pulled from under the burning beam, and the two of them raced from the building.
The end.
Now you may have figured out the name of the man who raced into the building, He was Jesus Christ.
But the other person, (___) well, that person was me, but it may have been you as well, it might still be you, or a friend or a relative, or just someone you see from time to time. The point is that this story answered my question about why Jesus doesn't save us all and why we have to accept His help. and yes I am aware that this was a rather childish story and not very long or full of imagery and whatnot. But that is the kind of story that gets the point across best usually.
