Not a lot to tell, as per usual when I get on this thing. White Marsh hired Adam to work for Christmas and he seems to be doing a good job. He rocked ass at the training in Laural, so I feel pretty confident they'll keep him after the holidays. Saw a few movies that were highly entertaining: Saw, Team America, Yellow Submarine (though this one was a little more than a bit fucked up), et al. Been reading William Schott's Miscellany, a book literally filled with all the semi-useful to completely useless but interesting information that most of us have at least heard of but forgotten we knew. Amazing stuff. Trying to get my printer up and running so I can add faxing to my arsenal of application initialization. Been having fun with Danielle, as always, though we are at an empasse over billiards halls. She refuses to ever go to Top Hat again, and I can't stand the wretched quality of the tables and cues and memories at Satyr Hill. Earning a little overtime at work for the first time in a year, and it's looking highly profitable from this angle. I wish I were working at Verizon right now. I'd be fixing and building things and earning enough to live in my own damn apartment. My car would be fixed and I'd have enough to save up to continue my ejimacation.
Speaking of cars, mine got side swiped on Sunday. Although it didn't end up working out too bad. The girl who hit it was with her father learning to drive, and apparently she took the turn to sharply and had to dodge another vehicle. When she hit, her father made her get out and go door to door to see whose car she banged (heh). I go out and see what happened and I learn that her father, Reggie, actually runs the East End Garage on Biddle St. downtown with his brother. So he offers to take care of the car on Tuesday, give me rides to work and back, etc. It was a small place, but very busy, and I'm glad they're doing a booming business. Got to talk to him a while while we were driving to Towson and back, and he's a pretty interesting guy. Very nice, too. If anybody needs body work on just about whatever, because I think they can take all vehicles, they're an honest, family business.
Anyway, I'm out, I gotta get this whole "working" thing uder way.
