Still a thrill
Mr Snaz and I stood out in the backyard and watched Discovery take off. There was a huge cloud in the way most of the time, but we got to see a couple of seconds of fire and contrail before the booster rockets stopped burning. I hope their mission goes well and they get to return all in one piece. I love it when we send stuff into outer space. If I had my way, there would be a lot more of that going on.
Now I'm just charging up the ipod and poking around on LJ until it's time to go over to annmorris's house for the Fourth of July party. It's always fun to get together with the gang, plus Mark blows stuff up, which is always a thrill.
