yay! we had our first snowfall yesterday, its not sticking around but i'm still happy that we have snow.
it has been pretty cold here, but i'm sure that it won't be as cold as home. i will be very surprised if it does.
I can't believe there are only 4 weeks left to the semester. I'm flying home on December 14th. and I hope to spend some time in Corner Brook, just because spending 4 weeks in Burgeo will be hell.. I may think about spending the last couple of days in St. John's to visit a few people, but I have to find out about changing my flight so I can fly out of St. John's instead of Deer Lake. Basically i'd like to figure it out so that I spend no more than a week in Burgeo.
I'm hoping for some roadtrips, but they probably won't happen just because the weather doesn't ever want to be agreeable around xmas in NF. I have to see about getting insurance for the car when i'm home too. That will help kill some of the boredom.
Toronto is having its Xmas Parade on Sunday, I can't believe that I'm excited about it. I feel like a child again, but I guess its ok to let my inner child out again. I'm thinking that its going to be bigger than i can even imagine, which actual floats, which I have never seen.
In other news school is going fine, the homework is starting to pile up, but there are only a few weeks left, so it will be all over soon enough.
ok... here's a stretch for me.. The snow was falling when i woke up this morning. and i was oddly enough inspired. (thanks a lot graham :P)
i'm starting to think they drugged my breakfast, because I have only ever wanted to write once in my whole life.
Snowy Days
snowy days
the world in white
its odd really
cold and dead
yet so peaceful
the crystal flakes
ease my soul
beauty in white
i want to make snow angels
I'm pretty sure it sucks. but whatever. its what came to me, as i tried to wake up.
