I wonder if somebody could obligingly tell me HOW on earth was it what has been done to Harry in the 'Dark Chocolate' ever justified in the 'White Chocolate', for I have heard that it has indeed been. I've read the former a few years ago and was so - traumatized, quite literally - that couldn't bring myself to start the sequel at all. Yet the longing to right the wrong remains; - and if I could only have a prior knowledge that an explanation to the uncommon cruelty does exist, or about how could it have ever 'worked out' in the end.
Sorry I'm asking here; didn't quite know who and whre to ask otherwise.
Well, actually I on the other hand was really shitted out that Snape would do something like that-- you really shoud read it!!!!
It's just that ..I wouldn't really call it justified. I mean, in the beginning of dark chocolate, it all started as a joke, right? But in the White chocolate, everybody literally kept Harry away to make him leave the Wizarding world because Voldemort's connection had been growing stronger since he died and they were afraid Harry might die because of that. So they banished him into a new life where Voldy's connection might die out.
Which was really, quite unacceptable, but I loved bastard Harry who is justified to be a bastard so......go and read!!<<
Hmmm... I might do just that. =) I don't really remember the particulars of the fic, for it has been such a long time, but I very acutely recall I felt like somebody had spat into my soul. So I'll have to re-read the 'Dark Chocolate' too. Hope Harry does them all. =)
um, maybe it's just me. but i'm actually upset that i decided to read 'white chocolate'. it was very dissapointing to me personally. i didn't feel that harry should have forgiven like he did. the beginning of the fic worked for me but the end kind of ruined the whole thing for me. i almost can't bring myself to read 'dark chocolate' again because of it. but maybe i'm in the minority.

Not as intensley angsty but similar.
Also if you haven't read "Sunrises" and "Happily Ever After" by juliatheyounger then you should.
I've posted a request for the link to it on snape_potter because my links are dead.
