Voldemort isn't dead!
I'm sure I'm missing some tags, but I've literally come back to LJ after several years to ask about this fic. I've forgotten how to tag. 😭
The fic I'm looking for is technically post-war, but Harry believes Voldemort to still be alive. He wakes up at Hogwarts to find that the whole world is missing except Snape. Snape, who seems unaffected by the snake bite. They go looking for a way to kill Voldemort, but Snape isn't very concerned about it. Harry keeps having nightmares about Snape looking sick and not talking. There's a scene where Voldemort suggests Snape only wants Harry as a replacement for his mother, and Snape tells Harry that isn't true. Maybe Harry is experiencing Snape's memories? He sees Snape watching him go after the Sword of Gryffindor. Stuff happens & etc., and we find out that in the real world Snape is trying to pull Harry out of some weird nightmare.
I feel like this is the most obvious thing but I haven't been able to find it. Please help!
