story 1 : 70% sure I remember finding this on a Yahoo! group, in one of their file archives.
It was listed as snarry, post-war. About 50,000 words. Harry Potter is an Auror for (7?) years, until he retires and becomes a teacher. Story starts on his first night back at Hogwarts, with him and Snape agreeing that they will try to be civil to one another. Harry wears a glamour all the time, which Snape immediately notices but no one else does.
They start a friendship by hanging out on the weekends, and one weekend Snape asks him about his glamour. Harry removes it, revealing a scar running down his face (think Scar from the Lion King), that’s pretty gruesome. After the weekend is over, he forgets to put the glamour back on, and his class asks him about it. He stops wearing the glamour after that, although a lot of female students stop thinking he is so attractive. If this is indeed the same story… Later, there are rumours about Snape and Potter dating because they are always together on the weekends.
It’s not true, but Snape clearly wants it to be. Later, when some asshole students charm a mistletoe over them in the Great Hall and everyone laughs at them, Snape publicly kisses Potter. Then he acts like it never happened, but Harry is confused .
Story 2: Probably also a Yahoo! group file, although I can’t really remember anymore. It’s a non-magical AU. The story starts with “Judge Albus Dumbledore” sentencing Harry Potter to be an aid for a cripple. Snape is a cripple that Albus knows, who is a writer that never leaves his house. I don’t remember how exactly he’s handicapped… Snape hates him being there. The rest of the story is a blur.
I do remember that at one point Potter is raped by Lucius and ?Tom Riddle? in an alley. Snape wants to visit him in the hospital, but has to get over his agoraphobia to do it. He ends up making it there before Harry Potter wakes up. Later Snape takes him to a dinner party where Lucius and Tom are, and Snape identifies them for Harry, and Harry absolutely loses his shit. The story ends with Harry killing Lucius and Tom, and Snape is really sad about it because he won’t see Harry again for many years.
But, he accepts that that is the consequences of Harry’s actions, and… if my memory isn’t faulty… it ends with him thinking that, in 60 years, perhaps they can pick up where they left off. It’s a really messed up fic.
Story 3: “a unique perspective on insanity” or something like that. It was a well-written fic about Harry being crazy. The writer played a lot with what Harry remembered and didn’t remember, and how that fluctuated each time Snape visited him.
It’s revealed that Snape and he were together, and married, but for the most part Harry does not remember that and only sees Snape as the professor he hated in school. Later, Potter starts to understand that he is insane… and leaves the hospital to move out to the countryside near Hogwarts.
Snape visits him sometimes. At the end, Snape visits him one last time to kill him, which Harry accepts gracefully.
All these stories have to have been written before mid-2011,
