Abused Harry
Hello,
I am in the mood for some fics where the Dursleys are particularly cruel to Harry and pretty much treat him like a house elf. I'm looking for ones where Snape is cruel to Harry because he assumes that Harry's life is one of pampering and celebrity (they're living together for some reason in these ones). I think I've read some where Harry is so "broken" that he just takes it from Snape because he expects Snape to treat him as cruelly as the Dursleys. And there is usually a moment of epiphany for Snape when he realizes that his beliefs are wrong and he's been treating Harry like shit (like the Dursleys).
I think I read one where Harry was spending the summer with Snape and had been cleaning the house at Spinner's end without magic. Snape thinks that Dumbledore has sent a house elf to clean and cook but it's been Harry all along. Snape is cruel and refuses to believe that Harry is doing the work around the house.
I just really want to read anything where Snape's behavior is just as damaging to Harry as the Dursleys until Snape realizes what a shit he's been. I'm a masochist for that gut feeling you get when Snape is a shithead to Harry and you know that it cuts deeper for Harry that Snape realizes. (Hope that makes sense.)
I'll take Snarry or Severitus.
