Harry promised to Severus
Hello! I was hoping you all could help with a story I can't seem to remember the name of/ where I found it. In the story, Severus wants Lily and ends up "saving" James when James falls into a curse Severus set. I don't remember exactly what it was, but Lily promised their firstborn to Severus if he would let James live. Years go by and Lily and Harry are living in a convent I think. She never told Harry anything about the promise as she thought Severus wouldn't want the child since it wasn't a girl. Severus, who I remember being quite wealthy and I THINK having horses that he teaches Harry to ride, comes and claims Harry. It kind of has a Beauty and The Beast plot where they fall in love, Severus lets Harry go and then Harry comes back. Any ideas at all?
