Looking for Mentor!Severus fic (I think...) FOUND!
Hi everybody; hope you can help me, this is driving me crazy!
I cannot find this fic for the life of me.
I think it begins pre-Hogwarts; Snape somehow finds out about Harrys' home life and works to make it better. McGonagall is also involved. At one point, they use magic to redesign Harry's room, creating an awesome little apartment that the boy can live in, since he can't leave the Dursley's. (I am not sure at this point if Dumbledore has decreed 'the boy must stay with his family' or if they just decide it's safer). They even create an outside entrance so Harry doesn't need to go through the house, and if I'm not mistaken, they cast a spell that the Dursley's will forget that the room and/or Harry is even there; they won't even investigate if they hear him coming or going or what-have-you.
I believe Harry is quite intelligent, and eager to learn; McGonagall starts showing Harry how to use Runes in his new home.
That's about all I can remember; I can't remember if it ends up slash, or if it was finished, or if Harry made it to Hogwarts; nothing.
