I've been searching for this fic for awhile and I hope someone here can help me.
It's postwar, and everyone thinks Snape is dead. Harry hears a rumor (through Kingsley Shacklebolt?) of a large cat of some sort protecting deer in a forest, and somehow he just knows it's Snape. Harry approaches in his cat!animagus form to make the other cat comfortable and tries to remind him that he's human. There may have been feline sex--I can't remember.
