Severus stared at his reflection, turning back and forth to see if his nose had shrunk, or if his teeth had whitened overnight.
He leaned in, checking his sallow skin, scattered pockmarks seeming to stand out in the harsh Muggle lights of the bathroom.
Why had Potter insisted on these lights?
The protective grease he habitually put in his hair showed up well. He fingered a strand, grimacing at the coating that came off.
What does he see in me?
“Morning, sexy,” Harry said, slapping Severus’ arse as he walked by.
Severus smiled at his no longer as ugly reflection.
